The Zoo

Today we went to the zoo. Since we have a zoo membership, it is a great little, cheap activity for getting out of the house. Teah loves going, there is space to run around, and it is one of the greenest places out here. The first time we went to the zoo, there weren't any monkeys in the siamang exhibit. The next time we came there were two adult monkies, one of whom was holding a tiny infant. Today we were able to watch the baby monkey try to climb around, under the supervision of his parents. He fell as much as he succeed. It has been fun watching him grow up in our various visits.

We also visited the sea lion exhibit. Normally this is one of Teah's favorites, but today she was more interested in the little aquariums on the other side of the building.

One of her favorite things she did was get to splash around in puddles. As it doesn't rain much (although we have had a remarkably wet July) and any water usually evaporates quickly, she has really been able to splash in puddles until today.

She also got to have a special treat and ride the carousel today.

And of course play on the elephant statue.

All and all, it was a good time and she protested strongly as we were leaving.

Bridget, Manu and T and Z,
Wow! Those are some gorgeous babies! Jed just looked at Teah and said That is so unfair to the boys! I can only imagine from her parents that she`ll also be an althetic threat to the boys. It`s great to see what is going on with you guys! We are expecting our first baby in January and just can`t wait! We`ll talk to you more soon! Bye
