Lollipops?

Thursday was library day again. They read some Eric Carlile books and afterwards made a collage of senses. They drew a picture for see, glued on sand for feel, glued on potpourri for smell and attached a rubber band for sound. Then when they finished, they all got lollipops to represent taste. We went to walmart after, where Teah finished her lollipop. Of course she got herself and the cart so sticky that we had to buy wipes while we were at the store. It did make me wonder about the individual who invented lollipops. Who creates a candy that gets sticky and slobbery that is designed for a kids to be continually taking in and out of their mouth. Talk about asking for trouble.
