Library and Daddy Daughter and Son Date

Thursdays are story time at the library. Today their theme was birthdays, so they read a couple of books on birthday parties and then made a birthday hat craft. Teah glued the rubber things on herself. Much to her dismay, I demanded that I help her dump the glitter on. Luckily, I had put clips in her hair, so she got to be the only kid whose hat would actually stay on. The theme was fitting since earlier in her morning bath Teah used her pitcher to continually fill little cups while singing happy birthday to herself.

I applied to be an online tutor and tonight I had a mock session, where I tutored one of their employees pretending to be a student. This meant Manu had to be in charge of the kids. To make it a fun night, we set the laptop up on our bed and Manu rented Bee Movie for them all to watch together while I was downstairs. They even got to have cookies (Teah only let Manu have one, and she even put up a fight over the one). It was time to change the sheets anyway.
