Crafts at Home

Today we went to the library for story time, but unfortunately it was canceled. We hung around for a little bit and Teah checked out a couple of books then headed out. As we left Teah began balling and saying, "I want to make something at the library." I told her that they were not making anything today and that we could make something at home, which completely failed to console her. When we got home we decided to make a yarn octopus and doll. The doll looks a little scary, but it is the only doll she has ever made and so she likes it.

You are AMAZING. I can't believe you went home and made a yarn Octopus doll. I've always said Anne Marie got cheated....I'm the most uncreative soul on earth. As I write, she's on the floor piecing together a quilt with a pattern taken from a photo of the ocean in Cambria. We would have come home from the Library and I would have called Marilyn to see if Christy could play...........at Marilyn's house.
