Benefits of a Yard?

One of the main reasons I wanted to move out of an apartment and rent a house, was so that there could be a yard for the kids to play in. However, when I do take both kids in the yard, this picture about sums up the results -

Zander with dirt on his face from trying to eat it and soaked because Teah turned the hose on him when we were suppoed to be watering the grass.

But the worst part is we have Oleanders in our backyard, whose leaves can be fatal, meaning I really can't let Zander explore since EVERTHING (he is way worse than Teah ever was) goes in his mouth. I am hoping that he will be a little less prone to oral exploration once he starts walking. We will see.
