Museums

About five minutes from where we live are the museum of archeology and the boarder patrol museum, which are surrounded by little hiking trails. Last weekend we went to the Museum of archeology, they have a little hands on replica of a historic dwell for children to play in, and hiked the surrounding trails. Yesterday we did the border patrol museum. At the border patrol museum they have various border patrol vehicles that children can climb in. Among other things, the border patrol museum displays weapons confiscated from illegal immigrants crossing the border. Included was a 17-caliber ring pistol. And both are free to the public.

I know somewhere else where there are a lot of free museums :)
Perhaps you should try there.

Isaac would LOVE both of those. He use to want to be a cop and of course weapons are the coolest. But for the last couple of years he has decided he wants to be an archeologist or geologist. One more reason to visit.
