Penny for you thoughts Part 2

The lesson has been very helpful as she now has a concept of what it means when we buy something. Just the other day I had to return some movies to the library, which Teah did not want to take back. I tried the we have to share with other kids explination, followed by the then the library won't share with us anymore, non of which help convince that we needed to take them back. And so finally I said and if we don't take them back we will get charged. She responded, "I want to get charged." Then I said, "If you get charged, then you have to give them some of your money." Teah abruptly said, "I don't want to give them some of my money." And the was the end of the conversation, no more complaints about returning the movie. It was wonderful.

She has also become very interested in getting more money for her bank and the other day she got some pennies out of my change dish on the desk. I told her that was mommies money but she could have it if she help with the dishes. So she put the silverware a way for me. I was impressed how good of a job she did not only separated forks, spoons and knives correctly, but she even separated the sizes correctly.
