Early Easter

This Easter I decided to try to make the kids Easter outfits. I had seen some 1.50 fabric at walmart they I liked and decided to use that. Since this year Easter Sunday is during conference, they wore their clothes to church today. As sundays can be difficult to take get pictures, with not enough time before and cranky kids after, I did not really plan on taking pictures today, but I did want to get a couple of Teah while she still had curly pigtails. However, when I loaded the pictures I found Teah had taken a picture of Zander earlier and got a bit of the matching bow tie I made for him. I still need to take some of them together - maybe next Sunday.

Recent bizzare and cute behavior
For the past little while Zander has enjoyed pretending to be a dog, the typical crawling and barking. The other day however, I caught him sniffing and licking the floor as he was pretending to be a dog. He he has also tried sniffing and licking my face a couple of times. I don't think these more recent additions to his dog impersonations are quite as typical, not to mention gross. What can we say our son is a nut.

The other morning Teah woke up before Zander and I and just went into the living room. When I got up with Zander about 15 minutes later, she was at the table eating a piece of toast she had made for herself. Upon seeing the food Zander started to freak out as he thinks he should be fed the moment he wakes up. I told Zander I would make him a piece of toast when Teah said she had already made him some. Then she retrieved a plate with a buttered piece of toast from the counter where she had set it for her baby brother.

The clothes turned out really cute. I look forward to a front picture of Zander to see the bow tie better. There are some really cute pictuers of Teah though. Funny story about Zander and that was so sweet of Teah, what a nice big sister.

What cute kids. Looks like Teah is becomming quite a little photographer. Tell her good job on the picture of Zander. What a thoughtful big sister to think of her little brother when fixing herself some toast. Good job Bridget & Manu teaching love and compassion to your children. You guys are great parents and it sounds like you are having tons of fun being parents.
