Like Mother, Like Daughter

When I was young, I tripped over was walking backwards, tripped over a picnic table and hit my two front teeth. The turned gray and I had to get them pulled because apperantly that mean I had killed them. Consequently, I did not have two front teeth for quite sometime. A couple of weeks ago Teah was jumping on my bed and manange to end up hitting the foot board teeth first. I could immediately see that one of her teeth was displaced. We took her to the dentist and after the xray, they determined that the root had not been broken, so the best thing to do was nothing. Trying to straighten it could might damage the permanent tooth and since nothing was broken it was best not to have to pull anything. Within in a couple of days, however, we noticed that her two front teeth were turning gray. Having had the experience myself, I was worried that this would mean she would have to get those teeth pulled. Appearently, however, they no longer automatically pull gray teeth and the graying is actually bruising and may go away (and almost has in one of the teeth). Until then, she will be our crooked and gray toothed little girl. (This experience of course has in no way deterred her from jumping on our bed, especially if I have just made it).

Somehow I missed this blog, Michael just showed it to me. What a little monkey! That is interesting that the grey color might go away.

That happened to Ruby too - twice. We went to the dentist etc. The good new is the gray color did go away. They are not bright white. But you don't notice them being off color
