Unusually wet winters yeild unusually beautiful springs.
Today we walked that paths surrounding the muesum of archelogy to see the poppies in bloom. There are actually other regions where the blooming is even more dense then here, but most of them don't have trails. Still I think we might try to go as a family in the next couple weeks and walk around the areas that we can.

Pretty flowers. Cute kids. Mom said living in El Paso was like living on the moon. That looks prettier than moon rock to me:)
If you put enough water on the moon you'll get flower too!
Everyone stole my winter, where is my snow :-(
Considering the atmospheric composition and lack of seeds, putting water on the moon would not yield flowers anytime soon.
That really is very pretty. I couldn't get the voice of the Wicked Witch of the West casting her sleeping spell out of my head though. ("Poppies . . . Poppies")
Nothing like being in the middle of a whole bunch of wild flowers. Looks like you had a frn family outting. Beautiful flowers!
I always thought poppies were red, which goes to show how much I Know. They are gorgeous.
El Paso is a magical and charming place. Soooo pretty in the spring-time. How are you guys liking the wind storms???
