Fiona
As many of you know, we had to put our dog Fiona down. A little more than a week before Christmas we discovered she had end stage kidney disease. Unfortunately kidney disease in dogs is often considered the silent killer because the symptoms are subtle and are typically missed or thought to have another cause. In retrospect and knowing the symptoms, she was actually sick before we adopted her. Despite being ill and short time she spent in our home, she was faithful, devoted, happy and loving. She loved play dates with her other doggy friends and trying to climb into our laps as though she was a giant 60 lb baby. We will forever miss her and be grateful that she was part of our family.
