Gingerbread Houses
We enjoyed making gingerbread houses as a family this year and Marama did a surprisingly good job with hers. It took a little bit for her to understand you were supposed to decorate the house with the candy and not eat the candy, but eventually she got it.
Nativity
We did our tradition Christmas Eve reading of the first Christmas, with the kids playing a role. It was not until the last minute that Xander decide he would be Joseph instead of the dog or donkey. Teah played Mary and Marama played the theif who wanted to steal the baby and manger.
