I finally did it. Chopped of all of my hair - and have a ponytail of over 13 inches. Now I just have to determine what to do with it (donate to locks of love, the panteen counterpart, etc.) And even Teah had 1-2 inches trimmed from hers.
I forgot to mention Teah's response to my hair cut. She giggle a bit and then declared that I look like grandma - and has been entertaining herself by referring to me as grandma rather than mom frequently since then. She thinks she is very funny.

You look STUNNING! I hear that once kids start to 'pull-hair' that chopping it off is a survival technique! Regardless, you look awesome!
