As is typical with the 2 almost 3 year old. We have had some fairly humorous conversations recently and I though I would share a couple.
Me: Teah we will be going to Saint George for Christmas
Teah: We are going to see George!?!
While I am deliberating as to tell her that no one there is actually going to be named George, since there were going to be so many people she may not notice, Teah finishes with
And the man with a yellow hat?
(At this point I realize of course that she is hoping to see curious George and decide I need to explain to her that we would not be seeing George to avoid a very disappointed little girl).
Role Play
Playing in Teah's room Teah decides to feed Zander by holding one of her play bottles to his mouth and then declares "I'm Zander's mommy."
Before long Zander begins to fuss and I tell Teah I don't think he wants the bottle at his face any more.
Teah stutters, thinks for a moment, then looks at me sharply and sternly says, "Teah, I want you out of this room right now!"
