Happy Birthday Manu

This year for his birthday, Manu took the day off work so we could spend it as a family.

He took everyone out bowling.

The picture Manu took of the score board to document my two consecutive gutter balls.

Some friends also took the kids for a bit so Manu and I could enjoy a lunch date to a local Korean restaurant.   For dinner Manu made shoyu chicken, asparagus and rice (simple but oh so good) - yes he made his own birthday dinner.  I did however make the homemade almond joy ice cream we enjoyed for dessert.  All in all we had a great day spending time together.

We are blessed to have such a wonderful husband/father.  I have been fortunate to be blessed with such a wonderful and caring spouse and am not appreciative enough for all he does for me and his children.  I would say I don't know how I got so lucky, but obviously I choose well ;).  He even used some of the money he was sent for his birthday to buy me flowers (yellow ones - he obviously pays attention to what colors I like). So happy birthday to my handsome and fantastic spouse and the my children's super dad.  We look forward to celebrating many more birthdays together.
