It's official Zander is two. No more free plane trips. Has an official excuse to throw tantrums and no more demanding to join mommy and daddy at 4 am. Does anyone want to explain that to him? Despite the early morning wake ups, we are grateful that he is part of our family. His sweet and silly personality can make you just want to hug him forever - not to mention the fact that he is so cute. Though I don't think he quite gets the whole birthday thing, I do know that he enjoyed having a day of presents and cake. We had a couple of families over for dinner to celebrate the event. They enjoyed playing in the sandbox and with his new water table and the Larry the Cucumber cake. He even managed to blow his candles out all by himself. The little fire truck he is playing with in the pictures is from Teah. It is one of those kits you paint and put together. Teah got to stay up late a couple of nights last month to work on it with Manu. All and all it was a great day for our great little man.

That is a really cool water table and Teah did a great job on the fire truck. Larry the cucumber turned out very cute also.

It looks like he had two cakes. Now that's a birthday! Marilyn has been interested in birthdays lately and likes the song . . . so we sang to him a few times. Happy Birthday Zander!!

Oh the days go by so fast, it hard to imagine that Zander is two already!! Happy Birthday Zander, being 2 is lots of fun and means you can do so many more things now--Go for it and have fun. The cakes and the water tub sounds wonderful, you must be having warm weather there.
