First Grade Field Trip

Teah's class got to go on a field trip to a local pumpkin patch this week. Each of the kids got to pick a pumpkin (small enough for them to carry around) and enjoy a large number of activities.

There were irrigation pipes to roll in

Stacks of tires to climb up

A corn maze to explore

Haystack bike trails to ride through

Along with several other activities (including some giant slides). All in all they had a fun field trip  Unfortunately Teah had gotten sick the day before and towards the end of the day ended up sitting out because she was feeling sick again.

Looks like tons of fun, too bad she wasn't feeling well! Hope she feels better soon!

This is pretty funny, most pumpkin patches have big displays of pumpkins that you use for a photo op. I guess a place whose main crop is dirt and rocks (and some cactus)can't quite grow enough pumpkins for that kind of display and has to paint the tires. But, it did sound like there were a lot of fun things to do, too bad she didn't feel very well.
