Some random posts

It seems with 3 kids in the home, life moves more quickly than I do. Still here are a couple of snip-its I have manage to capture over the past couple months.

Teah has been showing how much of her mom she has in her with her new found hobby, tree climbing.  She has also learned that it harder to get down than up.

Here are just a couple of pictures of Marama before church.

The other day Xander had been on his own and quiet for a little too long.  I decided to go find him and found him with Manu's shaving cream by his eyes and foundation painted on his lips using an eyeshadow brush.  When I found him he was actually in the process of trying to figure out how to clean up the lovely mess he had created.

I really like the current repurposing trend from clothes to home decor. Some of my favorite things that I have seen are the ways people have repurposed wooden pallets. One of my awesome friends saw a couple of pallets hanging out by a dumpster and grabbed them so I could make my own pallet treasure.  Merging a couple of ideas I came across online and spending only $2.50, I turned the pallets into my awesome outdoor table (I did have Manu attach the legs for me). And for extra coolness all of the plants in the middle are edible. I love it!

One of the big occupiers of my time recently has been my garden, but it makes me happy.  With the warm weather we have had out here we have already been enjoying the lettuce, peas, and lots of different herbs. Hooray for gardens!

So many fun things to comment on. Was that tree Teah climbed at the park? Marama looks like she has chocolate chicken pops. I am really sorry for the incredible payback you are getting for your naughty deeds as a toddler, your kids take the cake! That table is so cool! So did you cut the hole in the middle for the plants?

I love all the pictures and vignettes, one question however. I noticed Boo has an apple in her hand not the once chocolate covered pretzels; how long did you have to suffer with chocolate all over her face? :-)

I love what you did with the pallets. Quite ingenious

Love the table. Very cool. And, no I would not have guessed that mess was from just two choc covered pretzels!

p.s. Those butterflies look kind of gross. :)

Wonderful pictures of the family and the garden. Love the table, too. Good job!
